About Nature Nestia
Hi, I’m Aina Arif 👋
I’m the founder and writer behind Nature Nestia — a mom of 2 who spends most days covered in playdough, hunting for missing shoes, and trying to figure out what to make for dinner that everyone will actually eat.
I started this site in 2026 because I kept doing the same thing over and over: searching late at night for activities, advice, or reassurance about something my own kids were going through — and getting overwhelmed by sites that felt either too clinical or too generic to actually help.
Nature Nestia is the resource I wish I’d had from the start. Practical. Honest. Written by someone who is actually in the thick of it with you.
What I Believe
I believe parenting advice should feel like it’s coming from a friend who’s done the research — not a textbook, and not an ad disguised as a blog post.
Every article on this site is written to answer the question I’d actually want answered at 11pm with a fussy toddler and a half-read parenting book on the nightstand: “Okay, but what do I actually DO?”
I believe:
- Learning should feel like play, not pressure
- Every child develops differently, and that’s not something to fix
- Parents deserve real, usable answers — not just “consult a professional” with nothing else offered
- The best advice is backed by research, but explained like a human wrote it
What You’ll Find Here
Nature Nestia covers the real, day-to-day stuff of raising kids from baby to tween:
- 🧠 Child development & behavior — tantrums, stubbornness, sibling rivalry, the stuff nobody warns you about
- 🎨 Activities & learning — sensory play, Montessori-inspired ideas, reading and math activities, screen-free fun
- 🍎 Food & nutrition — healthy snacks, picky eater strategies, recipes kids actually eat
- 😴 Sleep & routines — bedtime routines, potty training, the rhythms that hold a family together
- 💻 Modern parenting — screen time, online safety, navigating technology with kids
I research every topic using credible sources — pediatric guidelines, child development research, and organizations like the American Academy of Pediatrics, Harvard’s Center on the Developing Child, and the CDC — and I always link to where the information comes from, so you can dig deeper if you want to.
A Quick Disclaimer
I’m a parent and a writer, not a doctor, therapist, or licensed childcare professional. Everything on Nature Nestia is meant to inform and support you — not replace the advice of your pediatrician, a licensed therapist, or a specialist who knows your child personally.
If something here resonates, great. If your gut (or your child’s doctor) tells you something different, trust that instead.
Let’s Stay Connected
I’d genuinely love to hear from you — what’s working, what’s not, what you wish I’d write about next.
